Cabinet member to headline Rural Health Policy Institute
NRHA’s Rural Health Policy Institute is less than a week away. We’re thrilled that USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack will give the keynote address at the 24th annual event in D.C. Others presenters include HRSA Administrator Mary Wakefield, PhD, congressional leaders from Alaska, Kansas, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Virginia and more as well as Mississippi’s former governor. More than 400 rural health advocates from across the nation will also get D.C. insider updates on Medicaid changes, meaningful use, rural health funding threats and the White House Rural Council. They'll discuss the future of rural health care with an expert panel and meet with their members of Congress on Capitol Hill.
