Garrett Orick

Garrett is a fourth-year medical student at East Tennessee State University. He grew up in Jacksboro, Tenn., in rural Appalachia. He is committed to practicing and advocating for rural health care. His interests include full-spectrum family medicine, rural obstetrics, and health policy. As a member of the NRHA Student CG, he focuses on engaging students in leadership and rural health advocacy. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his nephew Jude and his two dogs, Auggie and Josie.
